Statement Diversity and Inclusion

At Adwise, we believe that you only make a real impact when different perspectives come together. It is precisely by embracing unique backgrounds, experiences, personalities and ideas that we create truly meaningful solutions that advance our clients, our organization, our own Adwisers and the world around us. On this page you can read all about Adwise's policy on diversity, equality and inclusion (DE&I).

Mission
Diversity, equality and inclusion (DE&I) are essential not only to our own organization, but also to the success of our clients. By embracing an inclusive culture, we develop products, services and campaigns that appeal to all kinds of audiences. Our goal is to work with our Adwisers and our clients to create digital solutions that are accessible and relevant to everyone. This not only results in greater success in the rapidly changing world, but it also has a positive impact on society. We strive to make everyone working at or with the Wise Fundaments Group (Adwise, Adwise Academy and Wisepeople), as well as potential new employees and customers, feel welcome, safe and a full part of the Group.

Vision
At Adwise, we want to be at the forefront of a world that is constantly changing. We understand that diversity and inclusion are becoming increasingly important, both for ourselves and for our customers. Therefore, we strive to be an example in our industry of how an inclusive work environment contributes to job satisfaction, better results and innovation. We want to create digital solutions that appeal to everyone and are accessible, so we can make a lasting impact with our customers in an inclusive future and a safe, inclusive work environment.

Current focus
Currently within Adwise, we focus on raising awareness around diversity and inclusion. We offer trainings and workshops that help our teams become more aware of biases and act more inclusively. We also actively work to attract diverse talent and create a work environment where everyone feels at home, has equal opportunities and can develop themselves. We are doing this in part through a project group that meets regularly to discuss strategy and initiatives, with a culture manager initiative through which we monitor sentiment at the individual level, and by working with external consulting firm House of Inclusion to further shape our long-term strategy.

Future ambitions
We not only want to make a difference internally, but also to support our clients and partners in the area of diversity and inclusion. We strive to be a catalyst for positive change in our industry and continue to work on innovative solutions that benefit not only our own organization, but also the broader society. Our ultimate goal is an inclusive (digital) world where everyone feels seen, valued and safe, and where everyone can develop to their maximum potential both personally and professionally.

Every day we bring that goal one step closer from our 4 core values: trust, empower, challenge and explore.

What are we already doing on DEI?

  • Workshops by House of Inclusion
Trainings and workshops for everyone in the organization on key DEI topics.

  • Mental and physical health
Our culture managers organize monthly check-in meetings with all team members to monitor everyone's well-being.

  • Flexibility around holidays
We do not have fixed holidays. Adwisers may use their days off flexibly, whenever it is most convenient for them, be it Christmas, KetiKoti or Eid al-Fitr.

  • Flexible work hours and workplaces
At Adwise, we work when and where it's convenient, with a focus on results. Listen to our podcast with TAP via Adwise Academy, where we talk about "the power of remote work and diversity.

  • Inclusive lunch options
Our in-house chefs prepare fresh lunch daily with ample choices for different dietary needs (vega(n), allergies, gluten).

  • Gender-neutral toilets and locker room
Gender-neutral toilets and showers are available in our Fitwise facilities so that everyone feels safe and respected.

  • Diversity in team building (skill-based)
We focus on the actual skills of candidates and employees, emphasizing what someone can do rather than background or degree.

  • Transparent salary house
A transparent salary house contributes to equality by providing equal opportunities and pay for all employees regardless of background, gender or ethnicity.

  • TAP Digital Marketing Traineeship
Adwise Academy partners with the Talent Acceleration Platform (TAP) to give talented young people in underprivileged areas a flying start in their careers.

  • The Digital Mastery Awards
An annual in-house awards show by and for Adwisers. Find out more here.

We are not yet where we want to be, so we continue to look for new initiatives to further sharpen and improve our policies on accessibility, diversity and inclusion. Do you have your own suggestions or ideas for us? Then be sure to let us know at the bottom of this page!
